Metal Fuel Tank Connection

I bought a yamaha fuel line connector from this website and it leaks pressure out of the tank. The model number on the tank is 6y-01. Did I buy the wrong part or is there anything I can do? Thanks

you didn't give us the part number of the fitting.is it leaking fuel at fitting? there are at least 2 sizes possible 3 they all look very similar. get the right size.

That's the connector I bought. It's leaking pressure and a little bit of gas.

Leaking at the connection between tank and connector, not the fitting

Could you point me in the right direction for different sizes? I didn't see any.
