There is a place I want to put in a metal fuel line in the boat, what should I use? I know I can use A-1 rubber, but I was thinking of something metalic

I found this description online...
Metallic fuel Lines: If you use metallic fuel lines, the ones that run from the fuel tank to the fuel inlet on the engine must be one of the following; seamless annealed copper, nickel-copper, or copper-nickel. From the fuel pump to the carburetor they can be any metal you want to use. Beware. You could set up a galvanic couple and the tube will be eaten away like powder. Choose carefully if you use metal fuel line from the pump to the carburetor.

is seamless annealed copper, the same as plumbing copper, I cannot find any source for it on the web sites.

What type of concern should be considered with the "Galvanic Couple" ?

Well, my Silverton has 2 tanks and 3 transfer valves, all plumbed with copper fuel lines. Don't know for sure, but they certainly LOOK like the regular plumbing-supply copper.... Maybe you should ask a marine mechanic.

As far as galvanic corrosion, if you have dissimilar metal fuel lines they can interact negatively with each other. Best solution is to insert a short piece of non-conductive (rubber) fuel line between them.
