Then bookmark the link and use it to check send messages.

Lastly make sure you're logged in. It may look like you are and you can read and post to topics and maybe even check your messages but you may not actually be logged in....

I know, its a bit ridiculous, but its a 'known' problem thats on the list to be fixed, its just not top 5...
