Had a mechanic tell me too many grounds in one location can cause problems. Have you guys ever had issues with this? I have a weird electrical problem that eludes me but i do have about 6 things grounded on one post? Hmm

What motor ?------Not sure why it would matter !----What is your motor doing / not doing ?----Also indicates that many folks have issues understanding 12 volts / wires.

A ground is simply a common point in an electrical system with a zero volt potential.

Funny things can happen if you don’t have an electrically “clean” ground, but there is no limit to the number of ground connections at a single point.

In fact, tying all grounds to a common reference point is the goal of good circuit design.

Having said that, stacking grounds increases the possibility of a bad connection affecting the circuits stacked on top of them, thus the recommendation for use of a ground/bus bar configuration
