I have a 1985 90hp mercury. I did a compression check the other day and it was as fallows 1# 120 2#90 3#120 4#110 5#100 6#105 I also here a small amount of noise from the crank in one of the cylender but it is not bad. I have decarbs this motor before the compression check too. I was told this motor was a pos and wouldn't be worth fixing. what should i do

Or see if you can find the same motor with a wrecked leg, and then put the powerhead onto your engine. They should be fairly cheap.

Have a great day,

Rob.
