outboard (mercury) serial A175405 (90Hp)
on auto repair manual site it says
90 6623151 - A902435 1985
so i guess its a 1985
i dont know if its a 6 cyclinder or 3
on the motor somewhere it says 3 cylinder.
if its a 6 they why does it only have 3 carburetors.
i took off the carbs to rebuild, first time, manage to but when i order the kit for a 3 cylinder it doesnt fit.
this motor is confusing me. a 3 or 6. i just want to make sure before ordering and returning the parts i have.
i should have done a compression test first.
the previous owner told me it need carb work because when he had it running he said their was lost of power and didnt accelerate.
the prop was tore up ( so i thought that might have been the problem + carbs).
i havnt tried to turn the motor yet (heres the noob part)
once the carbs are back in,
i put the muffs on the boat turn the water on then i turn the key? is their anything else i need to do
