Hello all, new to the site!
I am looking at purchasing a 2002 Triton Bass boat and it has a Mercury 125hp outboard fitted. Unfortunately, with my current schedule, I have not seen the unit but I am curious if it is a fuel injected engine of does it have carbureted? Id rather have an EFI, fuel injected setup vs carbs...so, next question: Is there a upgrade (kit) to change over to fuel injection?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Regards,

Should be 4 cylinder carbed 2+2 motor idles on the top 2 cyl and the bottom 2 kick in at 1800 rpm. Not fuel injected cannot be converted it is oil injected. Good motor but need to test drive. To get EFI you would need to go to a 150 hp. Get a serial# they make a 125 optimax but I am not sure what year it came out could be 2002

I've thought the same thing, do you put the injectors in the spark plug holes?
Or just sell it and buy an EFI?
