Mercury outboard 60 hp carb adjustments

I have a 60hp Mercury outboard 1989 or 1990 (#co161318 I think) and I'm cleaning the carbs, are there any specifications on adjusting them before reinstalling.<br /><br />Thanks, <br /><br />S. Lord

Welcome to iboats <br /><br />Avoid ANY adjustments,S.<br />The theory here is, it was set and running optimum before it got messed up.<br />But if it has been monkeyed with (to try to correct the problem before the rebuild), then just install it, and try it. Adjust it as needed.
