mercury optimax 90hp noisy

i have a mercury optimax 90hp when i bought it worked in a way that i can hear it and this year it stopped from working as usual and now it is making noise.

what might happened please ?

The Optimax motors have a belt driven air compressor and alternator. They tend to whine a lot, compared to a carb motor. Maybe the bearings on those items are getting noisy?
