I have a merc 25 from 1984... (blue and white decals)
My hood latch broke on this. Not the hook part that stays on the hood, but the hinged part that attaches to the main unit. I am willing to make up something to work on this as tracking one down is not so easy....certainly at a normal and sane price. I have located some but they are very proud of them....for a few ounces of cast aluminum. REALLY????!!!!!!!
So anyone have this issue and made anything to work or anyone have one of these lying around and would like to help a fellow boater out....
