Mercury outboard 2003 115 hp. I dropped my foot and changed my water pump. After reinstalling foot would only shift to foward. I dropped the foot again and following instructions I found on this site I was able to shift to neutral. With the lever in neutral I reinstalled the foot. Now forward and neutral works fine but reverse locks the prop in both directions. Could I be off 1 spline? I hate to drop the foot again but I need to get it right. Thanks for any help you can give me.
