Mercury Force lower unit

I need to replace the lower unit on a 1995 Mercury Force 120hp. I have a lower unit for a Mercury 85hp engine. Are these compatible units?

No.The 85 is made by Force and the newer is a Mercury lower.J

haven't seen one yet, supposedly there were a few made in the fall of 1989 when Merc bought out US Marine, but I have never seen one. every one I have seen has a US Marine id tag on it.


Anyway, the 85 is different, the 1995 uses a completely different lower unit.
