how do you check coils to see if their good and how do you remove oil injection

If the spark will jump a gap of 716" they are good.----That test is maximum output.----What is your motor doing / not doing.----Serial # of your motor is?

it's a 1989 new stator new trigger and new switch box no spark at all

I doubt that you have 4 bad coils all of a sudden !!

I know 2 of the coils are bad because they are broken

need help with no spark i have replaced stator,trigger,switch box, have new coils and waiting on voltage regulator.
is there something in the controls that could stop spark (kill switch unpluged).

The CDI electronics website has the troubleshooting procedure listed. It is much cheaper to diagnose a problem than to keep replacing parts until it runs .
