Hello to all. I am a newbie to the forum so this will be my first post. I was told that I will get the right answer I'm looking for.
I have a 2011 9.9 mercury pro kicker four stroke with power trim and controls at the helm. When I trim down, it won't go and I can hear a clicking sound. I trim all the way up and jog the switch and eventually it will catch and begin to trim down. It is intermittent. I believe it is a relay. I ordered two from my local dealer using the engine serial number, but they don't look like the right ones. I can't find any info on what they are supposed to look like or where they are located on the engine. I can see the green and blue wires coming from the motor going to a block position at the front of the engine. Any help on how to change them , test them or even what they look like would be mostly appreciated!
