The pull cord on my 9.9 merc outboard broke. I'm not sure what the best replacement is. I've looked for replacement cords for outboards but no luck around here and the pull cords for lawn mowers are not the right diameter. I have managed to replace it with a nylon diamond braided cord rated at 90 lbs and am hoping that will suffice. Any other suggestions?
