I m working on a 9.9 two-stroke, 0G168478, that doesn't want to start. I've tracked the problem to downstream of the fuel pump. I have gas at the fuel pump inlet. If I disconnect the line and squeeze the primer bulb, fuel shoots out the hose.
I have rebuilt the fuel pump and carburetor. I have mixed new fuel. I have eliminated water in the fuel lines and fuel filter. What can be stopping the fuel from reaching the intake manifold? If I spray premix into the carb, it will run.
Additionally, can anyone tell me how to hook up the carburetor to ignition advance linkage wire? I have it snapped in at the carburetor, but cannot find where it goes under the flywheel.
Thanks,
J
