Mercury 500 age

Hi, I've just taken delivery of a Mercury 500 4 cylinder and have looked at various serial number websites to date it but no luck. It says made in Belgium and has serial number 9021827. It has blue and chrome decal on 'ribbed' sides and the cover at the back is chrome. Any help would be much appreciated. I want to try and get hold of a manual but without the year this could be tricky! Thanks
