Of course there is a manual. Boatinfo.no might have a free version. Even a Clymers or Seloc has basic details.

You got the new distributor from a butcher! They cut the crankcase up to remove it. Undo the 4 bolts on the new one that holds the body on the part with the throttle arm.

Take the cap off and clean the points, rotor and inside contacts on the cap. Don't break anything! Replacement parts are very expensive and almost impossible to find. Clean things up and put the cap back on. Keep the cap and wires on. It is very difficult to put the cap on with the distributor installed.

On top of the distributor is a splined shaft with one missing spline. It matches with the female end of the belt driven shaft. The match line on the female part is in line with the line on the timing belt pulley.

Turn the flywheel clockwise until the line on the timing belt pulley faces you, rotate distributor shaft until missing spline is roughly lined up with the timing belt pulley line and stick it in. You may have to turn the flywheel a little for fine alignment. Once it slides in, install the 4 bolts.

Thanks a million GA_Boater, i will follow every step you gave me. My question is what do I clean the points, contacts, and rotor with? And where is the cap bolts located?

@ GA_Boater i disassembled the distributor from the crankcase, is there any thing that needs lubricant before I reasemble the distributor? I remember you saying to clean up the rotors and points. What do I need to clean them with?

I clean the spring and tip of the rotor, along with 4 contacts in the cap with some very fine grit wet and dry sand paper. clean off any green or corrosion looking stuff.

I clean the points the same way if I don't have a points burnishing tool handy. This is not really an approved procedure, I usually don't have the burnisher.

The points have a felt pad to lube the points cam. It is NLA, so I put a few drops of 3 in 1 oil on the felt.
