I have a merc 50 Hp 4 Cyl 654100 serial number, I believe the year is 1984. I really need some help. I am not getting fire from the number 3 & 4 coils. I switched the 1 & 3 coils and still the same thing. I am not sure whatelse to check. I am able t get it started but it is very difficult , I have checked to see if I had some corroded wiring and found a couple and replaced them but at a stand still. Last year when ran the boat it did act as if the carbs were getting clogged and it was hard to start. carbs have just been rebuilt and i noticed that the idle did not change when adjusting the idle mixture screw for the bottom carb. That's when i decided to check spark after installing new plugs.Thank You Guy
