I have determined that the switch on the shift controller on my 1999 Searay 185 is bad. The switch will do down tilt but not up. Verified that signal is getting to lower solenoid but not to tilt up one. Jumping to hot lead on up solenoid raises outdrive.
The problem is how to remove the controller to get access to the switch.. I am completely puzzled. Does any one know how to remove enough of the control lever to gain access to the switch..
I believe it is a quicksilver remote controller for single motor
