Mercury 35hp no spark

My motor had been running fine until it suddenly quit (luckily I was near the boat ramp). I tested and found no spark on either plug. I disconnected the component that I think is the tilt switch but still no spark. (This component is about 1 3/4 inches long, cylinder-shaped, and has a lead wire from it that is screwed onto the side of the block. It sits at a 45 deg. angle.)

Hopefully someone can tell me what to do next and what equipment I will need.

You will need a minimum of a OHM meter, heres the test from CDI
