Mercury 2014 15ML and 20ML basically the same motor?

Looks like it to me. Specs are almost identical except RPM range. Can I turn a 15 into a 20 myself?

Hi there, Are you talking 2 or 4 stroke engines?

To help find the correct part differences between the two engine models, your engine serial number will be helpful.

Hi. Four stroke. The US or Canadian version. I have not purchased yet so I don't know the serial number.

The only difference I seen was/in the carburetor and the size of the propeller. Be sure to read all the "notes" to the right of the part description.

Yes indeed, I think you are right. Thanks! I may just buy the 20 since the price for the new carb is about the difference. This looks like a Tohatsu made product looking at the parts shown on the link you provided. Thanks again.
