All engines with a vertical crank can puddle oil in the cylinders if they are allowed to sit at less than level. This is not usually a problem while running though. So that begs the ?.What is your application? If you are installed on a boat with a very steep transom, just do'nt trim it in all the way.
My motor is mounted on a Triton 25 ft Pontoon, the transom is very steep I also have a great deal of weight on back of boat,37 gal. fuel tank,4 batteries for night fishing and 24 volt trolling motor.
