Is it possible to change out a 1983 external trim pump on a 1983 Mercury 150 to a newer hydraulic assembly between the transom brackets?

yeah with those parts.... plus 3 ram tilt/trim assembly

"driveshaft" (down housing and /or can) housing will work on either clamp/trim assy.
