I have a Mercury 150 (two stroke) Blackmax.
I have just rebuilt the fuel pump. The motor starts up and idles fine. The engine will rev up fine as long as it is in neutral. Once you put it in gear and advance the trottle the engine dies. If you hold the choke down the motor (in gear) will run to about 1/2-2/3 speed. Not sure where to go next and why holding the choke on makes it run better.
