Mercury 135 v6 2.0l overheating

1995 mercury 135 2.0 L v6
I have twin outboards port C/R is running 40 hotter than starboard.
it runs 180 starboard runs 135

Compression is as follows top to bottom left bank 110 105 115 right bank 115 115 115

new complete water pump 2 new thermostats checked poppet valve replacing it when parts come.

on start up of both engines port starts to pee water fast within a few min of start up starboard takes 4 to 5 mins and is much lower in temp and in flow
if i keep running both at same RPMs port goes up to 180 on gage and is noticeable hotter at FOT in a few minutes alarm goes off on port only and starboard remains 140

I have read a lot of posts and have no idea what to do next
I have flushed both engines and they seem clean
I have resealed between the water pump and exhaust plate with silicone lower unit.
Any Ideas?

Water from the telltale outlets must pass thru the thermostats befor it exits the motor. so, the thermostat on the port motor opens first. All things being equal, one would expect them to open at the same time. Poppit valve should be closed at that time, I think.

So if it is not waterpump, not thermostats, it is not the usual suspects. See if new poppit fixes it. If not, maybe bad head gasket?

If it's running lean or mis-timed, it can overpower the cooling system with the heat generated. It'll also be hard on mechanical stuff, thus the uneven compression.

Fuel system may need work.

It may already be hurt enough to need an overhaul.

I would think that would show in the compreshion being low? i do not get air or bubbles out of the head whin running and hoses are pulled.

To the Admiral The engines are tuned perfectly they start and run great. and both engines have relatively the same compression.
equal power both get to 5000 rpms at wot

what are you thinking with fuel i do run off 2 different tanks for now trying to get mpg

Obviously one is not running so perfect,it may sound good,and start good.My V6 sounded great and ran good,even my mech was fooled when looking for prob,starting pulling plugs to realise only running 3 cylinders.Dont keep running it or ill be calling you for spares.Bad pee sounds like botched replacement or blockage in cooling system...sand,salt,half an impeller.

Problem solved no thanks to the people here with there smart quick useless response buy a manual.
Its out of time.I have forgotten more than the admiral and his buddy assieflash ever knew.
if you really don't know what your talking about don't act like you do. your really not helping.
I solved the problem by the poppit valve replacement.

Maybe he should have never posted at all. IF he was that smart he would have relplaced the popet first then posted if it did not work. What a weasel... I get urked when people are the master of the obvious but I then realized that no one knows what I know when I post so if you dont spell it out you will get a lot of answers to things you already checked.

Gee, I suggested replacing the poppit valve in my first post.... He rejected that COA.

Good thing he became an expert on motors by his 6th post. Can you imagine how smart he is by now, after another whole day has passed?

THERE is no need for profanity or name calling here. I would ask the mods to ban this individual if this behavior keeps up. My kids like to read some posts, now I am a sensor to them.
