hello i have merc 115 that willn't start. there is spark in all cylinders. when i check the plugs after trying to start 1 cylinder is wet 2-6 are dry. are the fuel pumps bad. thank you for your help.
the motor was run fine than go back the ramp it shut off. took cover off the wires to the distributor. broken they were crowed . up inside dist. body. i got another dist. there i spark in all cylinders middle carb floods out the front.
If it was running till you changed the dist. I would think the dist. is the problem, it is either not in time or the cap thats on it does not have the spark plug wires installed to match the firing order of your engine.
