I just picked up an old boat that i want to restore. It has a mercruiser 120 stern drive unit with a 4 cylinder 120 hp engine that has a blown head gasket. Before i rip apart this engine i was wondering if i could drop a V8 onto this stern drive. will the bolts line up? will it be able to handle that power? anyone have any idea?
