mercruiser trim pump connector leak

Hey guys, my mercruiser trim stopped working yesterday. After some diagnose, I fund the reservoir connector for "UP" was leaking. I attached a picture. The male connector on the pump seemed to be bended a little bit. Is this something can be replaced? I tried to use a wrench to release it but it was hard. I did not want to try too hard to break anything. So want to ask here if this is something can be replaced? Thanks for the help.

Should add that there is a O ring that may just need to be replaced

Thanks @alldoge I managed to take that part out from the pump. I checked online and found something on ebay:

It seems the part comes with an O ring? see the 4th picture on the ebay item it has a black rubber ring. Is that O ring?

No not that one, it's a O ring that is part of the quick connector the clicks on to that fitting

Merc made this so it's easier to dealers to install the unit and get it out the door. They did not do it for a better connection. You could remove all quick connects and reconnect with hard fittings and not deal with what you have

ha ha now I am confused. Based on the chat you posted. The item 7 is the male connector and item 6 is O ring which is between the mail connector and the trim pump.

It happens, but Item 7 uses item 8 o ring but that is not the o ring I was talking about.

Being there was a leak and you not mentioning where the leak was, I assumed it was between item 7 and the quick connector. The quick connect also has a o ring inside that seals the 2 pieces.

You are right. My leak happened between item 7 and the quick connector. I observed my item 7 was bended a little bit. But I did not see any O ring inside the quick connector. I will check again tomorrow. Here is a picture of the item 7 I took off today:

Right now without more research, probably part of the connector

If it was mine, I would take apart the connector and find o ring. Then find the 20 cent o ring and replace it

I will try that tomorrow. I may check the the connectors on the "Down" side which does not leak to compare. Thank for the advice. It is really helpful.

I would remove the quick disconnects and hard connect.
If quick disconnects are never disconnected and exercised, they tend to form leaks in hostile environments.
