It was removed from a 3.7 liter 170hp four cylinder. The ratio was 1.84 to 1 Will this Gimble housing fit a 19985 Sundancer with a 260 HP 1.50

Gimbal bearing
Gimbal Housing
Gimbal ring

Or are you asking about the outdrive itself ????

I have a 1985 Sundancer 260HP, I need to replace the Gimble housing. The old housing has electralisis ,and the bellow boot lip has rotted away.
I saw a gimble housing for sale for alpha, It was removed from a 3.7 liter 170hp four cylinder. , will this one fit my boat with my 260V8,and my alpha outdrive 1:50

It sounds like you are replacing the entire transom assembly? As long as they are both Alpha models, then yes, the swap will be fine. (Just make sure the replacement in not a gen 2).
