hi. i have a mercruiser 140 i/o. i removed the outdrive to change the water pump. now that i am putting the outdrive back on i am having trouble with the shift shaft. i have it all ligned up right with the throtle in fwd gear and when i put it together it slips out of fwd and cant get it into neural or reverse. also the shift shaft is a little wabbly. does it have to be tight? any suggestions? thanks
