So I paid my buddy to rebuild my carb and he destroyed the lower when trying to stake the pump discharge key. Looking to get a replacement on his ticket. Does Holley or edelbrock offer a compatible marine carb? Would this suffice: http://www.jegs.com/i/JET/561/33007...p9dEaXYxlZ2NPiie0sF5h5zDwiB1CsekGEaAs4B8P8HAQ

This is going on a Mercruiser 3.0 (0M382035). More specifically a 2003 Stingray 180lx with Alpha drive. Thanks in advance

Hi there, welcome to iboats!:)

From the searching I was able to do, that carburetor in your link doesn't appear to be the correct jetting size or venturi size which may affect engine fuel flow ratios and engine performance compared to your original carburetor.
As the Vehicle Fitment says,
This part is compatible with 7 vehicle(s)Year Make Model Fitment Notes:
1989 Mercruiser With 2.5L or 3.0L 4 Cylinder Engine
1988 Mercruiser With 2.5L or 3.0L 4 Cylinder Engine
1987 Mercruiser With 2.5L or 3.0L 4 Cylinder Engine
1986 Mercruiser With 2.5L or 3.0L 4 Cylinder Engine
1985 Mercruiser With 2.5L or 3.0L 4 Cylinder Engine
1984 Mercruiser With 2.5L or 3.0L 4 Cylinder Engine more details on - http://www.carid.com/jet/carburetor-mpn-33007.html

Your OEM carb part numbers to start your search for is 3310-8M0045397 and was 807504A1 which the old number makes searching aftermarket a bit easier on you.

The following link below is another place to consider checking into. Be sure to try and get your old carb numbers and also click on View for other important info. http://flyingfishcarburetors.com/Mar...r-OMC.htm#merc
