Mercruiser 5.7 magnum, cut wiring harness

Hi, i found a 2005, 350 magnum, but the wires was cut and i want to test the systems, looks complete, the colors did not match, i have the conector with 9 wires, the strange thing , for me is a high gauge yellow wire, next is the yellow/red (start) ,next is a brown /white, and a gray ( all this on the right side ) in the left,from the top , a red/white , a purple, a black/white , a brown and a brown/blue, on other mercury's purple is ignition, but as that yellow wire is something new for me, i want to be sure, as the ecm is diferent to the ones in the manuals , ECM501 865926, will apreciate your guide, thank`s

My first thought is that isn't a Merc, but maybe an Indmar motor

On the ECM, how many connectors are on it and are they all on one side and in a row?

Sr, is a mercruiser ( 0W377840 ) with the MOTOROLA 866125-002 ( 350 MAGNUM FWC ) i follow the basic and connect the purple to positive and was able to start with the yellow/red and run, still have to identify the other colors, Thank`s

I was speaking of only the connector, not the motor. In any case have not seen Yellow on the 10 pin, but glad your up and going

Maybe see if the large yellow goes to pin 1, if it does then its ground
