I am rebuilding a pre 86 5.7.
The thermostat housing that is there is the original kind. Totally rusted out.
I was looking for a new one, and the original kind is meant for log style manifold. My engine has been upgraded to the center style risers. There seems to be a different thermostat housing for this type manifold. Should I get the newer T ball type, or stick to the original kind even though the manifold is the newer style. Thanks for your help.
