Mercruiser 5.0L '98 w/ carb - cranks but won't start

I believe it should be a Dorman connector. Been looking around and so far have not been able to find it. That said are you sure it's the connector and not the ground coming from the connector?

Now I just need to figure out what kind of replacement plug connector I can find to change the existing one out....
