Mercruiser 5.0/5.7 EFI Timing

I am looking to set my 5.0 EFI into time, I am not sure if it is the same as for the 5.0 Carb'd version or not... Please advise if you have a manual or timing specs for the 5.0 EFI/5.7 EFI engine.

If EFI means TBI the your at 8*, but would help with serial number?

Also needs to be placed in base timing mode

Engine Serial Number is 0M015812. 8* ATDC or BTDC? Base timing is standard across all 5.0/5.7 for EFI, FI, and Carb'd correct?

8* BTDC
S/N list TBI and its not the same across the board.
Carb is 10* include inboard
TBI and MPI is 8*
Inboard MPI is 10*

This does not include MPI motors after 2001 with flat distributor cap

To place in base timing jump pins A and B on the DLC connector
