I have a stator type with watercooled voltage regulator. The voltage output stays at about 12.8v, same as battery when not running. when I perform continuity test on stator yellow/ red to yellow red wire 0.6 ohms, y/r to ground infinity both wires, voltage reg infinity each terminal to ground, hook up y/r wires, disconnect purple, place amp meter in line, run engine 1000 rpm no amps, replace purple, disconnnect orange and place amp meter in line, run engine 1000 rpm, no amps. Ground one y/r and get 12.8 amps, ground second y/r get 12.9 amps. According to book everthing should be good. Battery barely being charged. What to check next??
