Thx for the tip Bondo, you were right the outdrive was pretty easy to remove.Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Pull the outdrive 1st,..... it's only 8 nults,....
Important note though!!!! To anyone who is new to this repair like me, when it comes time to remove the outdrive make sure you remove the center pin first before you take out the six bolts holding it to the gimbal. If you don't, when the last bolt is removed the unit could come out quickly and get caught up on the Trim rams.
Other videos I've seen the unit once unbolted was hard to remove, but for me that wasn't the case. I have posted to very good videos of the removal process for the easy remove and the stuck remove.

Also make sure your throttle is pushed all the way forward and the trim is all the way down before unbolting the outdrive.
And lastly, if you do remove your outdrive like I did it's probably a good idea to have a gasket kit order before hand just incase your unit gasket is in the same condition mine was. I'm going to have to refer to my boat operator's manual to find the correct part number for this gasket.
Thx again Bondo for the help.
