Mercruiser 4.3lx - Water in oil pan and milky oil

Long delay (thanks Covid) but yeah the block is toast. I still hear the hiss - must be deep in the valley. Kijiji it goes.

Cheaper to buy a set of gaskets than to make a block off plate I'll bet. Sorry to hear about the block, but it happens so often it is no surprise.

On to a new block!

Just to update this thread.. I ended up finding a used motor and already removed the old one and planning to drop this new one in the boat this week. Thanks again guys for all your help. I just want to be on the water again.

New motor is in and running - just happy to be back on the water... $4000 later.
