Thanks, im not from US so the parts are not cheap to experiment, i will appreciate your Imput, thanks!
I’m in Canada, they are only 60$ in the US but 100$ with shipping and exchange 🙄. Have you been running your boat with 4.5L of oil without issue or filling it to the full mark on your dipstick now roughly 6.5L?

I see your Canadian 20% difference and raise you an Australian 30% difference, plus a 50% supplier 'marine tax' (read 'price gouge', because we can). :) 🤦

Drained today with filter exactly 4.6 Liters and it was inch BELOW ADD mark on the water....

I’ve had 3 of these 4.3 gms. Each I’ve had takes 5 litres

hello,
ive got 2005 4.3 Mercruiser TKS (with Mercarb),
The problem is since I own a boat i have got drain plug oil system, changed oil put 4qts and its still below ADD mark... any ideas why? I’ve got proper dipstick according to the catalog...

Read on Trailer or in water????

I NEVER use a specified quantity, I ALWAYS just fill until the dipstick indicates the correct level. If that's 4 litres or 5 litres, I don't know (or care).

@Kubaat3lover I think you're looking for a problem that doesn't exist.

Says 4-4.5. Then you’ll have an oil filter with likely half again in it and it’s pipe work. More of you have it remote.
