Mercruiser 3.0 Milkshake Machine...aka, water in the oil

I had the exact same problem as you. I pulled the intake, and it was busted pretty bad on the bottom. Block was fine. I am going to replace it with an intake from an S10. I used diesel to flush out some of the milkshake. It was really thick. Also had good results using water with a little bit of Dawn dishwashing liquid.(just a few drops). Try to get it all out. My biggest concern was the sludge blocking the screen in my oil pickup.
