Started the motor yesterday after sitting in storage for couple of years (engine was fogged before storing) and noticed that there is some smoke coming from the breather whole and the oil cap. It's not a lot of smoke but I was able to notice it. It smells like exhaust, somewhat raw gas smell as well. I have changed the plugs, and running with fresh gas. I have run the motor quite a bit (at least couple of hours) on muffs. During low to mid RPM no oil comes out of the breather, but on high RPM, I notice very few specks of oil. I have a few question for the experts here.
1- Is this little bit of smoke and raw gas smell from the breather whole and gas cap normal?
2- What should be the ignition timing? Manual says 4 degree, but the label on engine says 8 degrees?

Thanks

Go by label on the motor
Don't run the motor above 1800 rpm on a hose.
It sat for some time, it needs some more time to try and see what things will show up. Chage the impeller and do regular maintenance and take it for a run
