Bought a 1990 Proline center console with no motor, bought a 2004 mercury 150 outboard motor doe's anyone have a diagram on how to wire it, and how to hook up the steering

Wiring- connect the big red wire to the + terminal on the battery. Connect the big black wire to the - terminal on the battery. Plug the remote control into the connector on the outboard.

Steering- attach the correct steering link rod (OEM part# 92876A12) from the steering cable to the steering bar. Use the hardware provided with the link rod kit.

Prolines are equipped with mercs, when new. The throttle, shift, steering and fuel systems should hook up w/o issue. The wiring may or may-not be the same. My '93 Merc has a round black plug that connects to the boat harness. It is under the cowling. The PTT wires are external to the plug. I do not know if Merc changed the wiring harness between '90 and '04.
