Mercarb 2bbl - Accelerator pump A and B - interchangeable?

Hello,
I'm having issues with my accelerator pump.
Trying to rebuild carb, overlooked pump style when ordering the rebuild kit.

My carb has a pump with straight piece and the carb kit came with bent rod aka style B.
The straight one seems to be a ***** to find in Canada.

The question is, are these interchangeable?
Can i swap straight one with the bent one?
By the first sight they are same lenght and it could fit there, but the spring seems a little longer, are there any differences?

Sorry but unfortunately you'll need the correct design acceleration pump as there is also a matched up size difference within the acceleration part of the venturi discharge holes which will affect overall acceleration performance.
