on the old style trim cylinders where the pivot end connects to the drive, that piece cracked on me.
Is that aluminum end replaceable or fixed to the stainless ram part requiring a whole new ram (the thing that moves in & out to raise/lower drive)?

what should I expect to pay, what's the best source for getting replacement at fair price?
thanks.

i bought both off ebay last year, they're in excellent condition. I don't think I'll need a full rebuild kit and seals, it's just the bushing end of the ram that cracked so it won't stay on the drive.
off to napa to find out.

napa is able to get a lot of merc parts. the only thing worthwhile is the o-ring rebuild kit for $17. They don't have just the ram available, and their somewhat limited to what they can get. Price for a whole new cylinder is $300+.

I may have the piece you need, some were 1 piece and some were threaded on.
Ed
