merc shift cable

I have an old 100 hp, that I need to know how to align the shift shafts to match the control cable. I have a mid 60's model inline 6.

Welcome to iboats and start over.

Define "Old", and don't post as a Poll, just ask your question. To some, 1969 is old. To others, 1989 is old. Different motors and controls.
