Merc/Mariner 25hp Reverse Rod hook

As I am going through my motor, it looks like the reverse rod hook was broken (figure 19 in the link). To tilt the motor, I have to reach down and lift up on the latch. I do have the service manual which shows how to connect it to the latch but does not show how it connects at the top of the swivel bracket.

Does anyone have a description of the upper connection or better yet the same motor and can take a picture?
