Hello all,<br />have a 9.9 two stroke , not sure how old but it has the two pin fuel plug with the metal ball so someone suggested no more than five or six years old.<br />This is used as an auxhillary on my boat, bought it secondhand but i know the orignal owner personally and it hasn't had much use.<br /><br />the problem is it runs for about two mins then dies. if i pull the choke out as its about to die and then push it back in it recovers for about a minute and does the same thing. Not had any experience with an outboard before but to me sounds like a blocked jet in the carb. plugs are ok but this seems more like a fuel prob.<br />anyone had a similar experience with this engine.
