I have a Mer 9.9 4 stroke and can't find where the correct compression for a cold engine should be. The book says 9.3:1, I know that's 9.3 to 1 but what's that figure out to be in PSI? Any help is appreciated. Both cylinders are the same, 155 PSI, cold. Squirt oil in the cylinders and re-do the test and there is no noticeable climb or loss in PSI. Have done the test (dry several times and it's always the same) and have done it with a little oil and then more oil and it remains the same.
