The manual says to aooly permaseal to the bearing carrier. Is there another product I can use? It also says to use on prop shaft. Will teflon pipe dope do the same job?
No, Use the permatex aviation gasket maker (Brush in the cap) on the bearing carrier. Use wheel bearing grease on the propshaft, before installing the prop.
